Busta Update # 6

26th May 2011

Well I write this with my left foot fallen asleep as Busta has fallen asleep on my left foot at my desk. It has been a pretty good couple of weeks since our last update, Busta is into our routine here at K9 Pro, I take both Busta and Kandy for a walk every morning, about 2km, Busta comes running to get his backpack on and go for his walk, which now has 3 kgs in it.

You can see him adjusting his enthusiasm to maintain the loose leash walk I have taught him. There is zero leash pulling at all from him now, I will add more distractions to this but he is very good on the leash I must say!

He still loves his morning roll in the grass on his back, he rolls around for ages kicking his legs up, it is one of his favourite things to do.

Thought I would add some recalls pics of the big boy bounding in now, he was investigating a rabbit when I recalled him and he comes flying in!

You will see he is the newer, leaner, fitter Busta!

We also had a Busta fan send him a letter and a toy Duck, Busta just loved this duck to death, whilst he cared for it, it fell into pieces and finally gave up into a mass of fluff. He is a little more gentle with his monkey though and that is still alive with very little scathing.

His arthritis seems to be in check now and he bounces out of bed in the morning, although he does sleep on a heating pad now too he is very agile and is running around like a puppy.

All in all he is a pretty happy boy!
