K9 Pro Tug Leash

6 Ft Double Nylon Leash with built in 1.5" x 10" French Linen Tug

Inspired by our own Vickie Priestley, these tug leashes are a must have. They have so many benefits it will be a long time before even we recognise them all!

First the leash, we made this out of 2 ply, 25mm wide heavy duty nylon. Two ply means there are two leashes sewn together, the reason for this is, if when training and tugging your dog bites at the leash, being 2 ply it isn’t going to fray and tear apart in five minutes.

The strength of the leash itself is very high.

The length is 6 feet long, the reason for this is that if you play tug with your dog and you have the snap attached to your dogs collar, there is enough length to tug without jerking the dog around on the leash. If you have the dog loose and the dog shakes the tug, its long enough to keep the snap on the ground and not hit you or your dog.

The Tug is French Linen; it is the easiest surface to grip there is. The softest mouth dogs can grip these tugs which means it is great for building drive, even in a dog with a soft mouth or poor grip.

If you use this with your sport dog, you can hold onto the tug for a better grip of a high energy or powerful dog and always have a reward with you.

Having the tug on the leash helps desensitize your dog to the tug being around and not always playing with it, helps make your trigger cue more effective!
